THE WHITE STRIPES CONFIRM GLASTONBURYThe White Stripes have confirmed their long rumoured appearance at this year’s GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL.
As predicted by NME.COM at the start of the year, the band will headline the Pyramid Stage on Friday, June 24.
The date is part of a world tour which is due to start in South America in May.
The Detroit duo have now completed the follow-up to ’Elephant’, which has a tentative release date of June 13.
The album was recorded at Jack White’s home in the space of two weeks.
